Liz lives in Hokianga and is well known for her canvas leaves and other sculptural / painted and carved artworks that are inspired by nature, or still life objects. The Pohutukawa Leaves are carved canvas hanging artworks that look amazing as an individual piece or as a set (also look great mixed with other sizes). As with all the canvas leaves in Liz’s collection, they come with long pins so that they can be mounted off the wall, creating shadows and movement.
All leaves are painted individually and some variations occur in the colouring.
The tiny Pohutukawa Leaf is approx 12cm in length.
