Lloyd lives in Nelson and paints on various mediums, often using oil crayon. His work is notable for it’s simplicity of form and intensity of hue. This along with a strong sense of composition, has allowed him to develop a personal and recognisable style.

Matisse Fish is inspired by the artist Matisse, it is on carved wood and measures 114cm high by 13cm at its widest point.
