Joseph lives in Hawkes Bay and has a completely unique style of painting on old window frames. He etches with transparent white on the back of the glass, and paints a separate scene on the back board. This creates, depth and shadows, but most of all a dreamy, reminiscent feeling.

Legacy depicts four generations of famers, and references one’s family connection to place and land. It measures 127cm wide by 53cm high.
