Ann lives in Nelson and uses a variety of mediums to create her art. She is a brilliant portrait artists, often personifying moods, dreams, emotions and conversations through her portraits.

The River Flows (blue), and A Forest And Its Secrets (green) “these two are about a conversation between a forest and a river - a landscape from my childhood I still long for - the mystery of both, constantly changing the landscape too - physically but too in a more metaphorical way, trees whisper, the river listens....and carries the stories to different shores”. Each painting is framed in a white tray frame without glass, measuring 59cm wide by 75cm high. There are many more layers and colours than what the photos show.
