Tamsyn is a ceramic artist based in Napier, Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. She has always been creative and studied Fine Arts before heading into a long career in graphic design and photography. Tamsyn always wanted to return to her more art-based roots, and in 2019 she joined her local pottery club and stepped into the world of ceramics. “If you ask anyone who’s made a career out of pottery, it’s addictive”!

At the end of 2024, Tamsyn made the big investment of purchasing her very own kiln. She launched her social media platforms in January 2025 and, to her huge surprise, secured my first stockist just two weeks later. With every kiln load either selling out or heading straight to her stockists, she stepped back from full-time work to part-time in December 2025, and is now focusing more on her ceramics.
